Holiday to Byron Bay
In the October school holidays we went up to Byron Bay with our very dear friends - Rebecca, Roger, Elissa and Jayden. While we were there we met up with some more friends Sarah and her gorgeous girls.
And what is a trip up north without a stop in to see our gorgeous friend Amanda and her beautiful girl Charlie.
Here are our photos, hope you enjoy seeing them!

Will I find my Prince Charming? Me and Manda.
Here we all are at Coffs in front to the Big Banana. This is were I get all your Bananas in Pyjamas soaps from Caitie and that lovely Candy from the Candy Factory is here too.....yummy!

Local Wildlife

We did a bit of a drive around to the cow cafe and the pub Damien would spend holidays at near his relos as a child. It's the only thing really in this town!

Ashie enjoying our last afternoon tea altogether the day before we left and a pod of dolphins we spied near the lighthouse.

This is Byron Bay Lighthouse at the most Easterly point of Australia. It was absolutely gorgeous here. Walking up to the light house we saw many butterflies in the bushes. The air smelt so fresh and you felt like you could drift off into the ocean that went as far as the eye could see.

At the beach Ashie was collecting jellyfish and Bec tried her hand at modelling!

Where we are standing here is actually the most easterly point. We also went inside the lighthouse to the keepers workroom. Here is what Aurora thought of it.

Bec, Aurora and I had a great afternoon making chocolate coated strawberries frozen on skewers. I'm not sure how much chocolate made it on the strawberries! The house we stayed at had a surfboard. Don't you think Ashie would make a great surfie chick?

What would a day free from routine be without a serving of pancakes made by my little chef, and of course home made pizza's! Not sure how well chips taste on pizza's though Jayden!

Here we are at Byron Bay markets where they sell local wares and have local musicians doing there thing. Froggy was Aurora's best friend in the pool.

Ashie is decked out ready for a swim. And for Ethan there is nothing like piggy backing on his Daddy underwater.

The first night we were there we found this gorgeous little tree frog. For Nina, Jussy, Aurora and Ashie it was love at first sight!
And here is live action, Ethan will demonstrate 101 ways you can dive into a pool.
