Always Updating...

because I never managed to put anything up at the time so this is just going to be a big jumble of stuff that has been going on since the last blog entry. Hope that is OK. Life has been extremely busy. I am working two part time jobs that sometimes coincide meaning some weeks I work 7 - 10 days straight before having some days off. I had a block of teaching early school support students 3 days a week. I always love working with these children, it is really hard and some weeks you feel like banging your head against a wall but the next week it all seems to gel and you want to take the little treasures home and call them your own!!
Damien has finally settled into his new job of 6 months as Team Leader and he is making some nice friends at work that we may end up socialising with. He has been home for 2 weeks now and is back at work on Monday. We have managed to plant some flowers and started weeding our ever overgrown garden. As well as brushing up our Guitar Hero skills.
The kiddies are great and I think enjoying being on holidays. They are still figuring out the holiday routine of being with each other 24/7. For some reason it is taking a bit longer these holidays. Maybe we are all just a bit overtired still. I can't believe that it is 2008 and Ethan will be in Year 4 and Aurora in Year 2. Ashie will have another year at preschool but I will be starting a home program with her as I would love it if she could write some simple sentences before we go away.

Our trip is getting there. Airfares were officially paid for on 21st of December and I spent most of December researching accommodation in the US. It was totally doing my head in. I have palmed over responsibility for our trip to Ireland onto Damien and Aurora. We also have our backpacks and some travel clothes after a big shop at Kathmandu. A little (big) Xmas present for the family.
We absolutely cannot wait to meet our beloved family and friends!

I can't think what else has been happening so I'm going to blog this bit now and start getting some photo's up with blurbs as I go.
