Here is Charlie!

We were fortunate enough to be able to get him from a good friend's Aunt as they were looking for a nice home for him. We put our hands up and drove to the Hunter Valley with Sweetie to meet him. They hit it off right away and pretty much decided within 2 mins that he was ours. He is a bouncy little chap, loves his ball and toys and unlike Sweetie will actually bring what you throw back. He will turn 3 on February the 6th which just makes it even extra special being close to Ashie's big day.

Charlie is still finding his feet. He was crated previously but for some reason seems really frightened of it, and as it was in the laundry, we are having a hard time getting him in there to eat and drink. So he has been here a whole night and day and apart from a few snacks, finally ate dinner tonight despite us putting a bowl of food and water outside.

Because of Gracie the previous rescue dog, Sweetie is still a little cautious and has growled at Charlie when he followed me in to tuck the kids before I went to bed. He didn't care which is a good thing. And because of his fear of the crate yesterday we let him sleep out of it on his pillow on the floor. Well I woke up to find him on my bed. He is such a good dog and Sweetie (despite the growl) loves having him around and will find him to sit next too when they are having a rest.
