Weddings, parties, anything....

Thank goodness it is school holidays because I am exhausted!! I have been working a lot this school term and full time for the last 5 weeks sometimes with the other job I have in between. I have been teaching in the support unit a class of 7 children mostly with autism. I will miss them terribly, but hopefully more work with them will come my way. I'm sure after a few days I will be scratching my head itching to get back to work and make more money for our trip.
We don't have any plans these holidays but to stay home and play!!

The kids are doing great and seem to be taller and smarter! Some of the words that they use now blow me out of the water. Ethan was telling me that in an exam about local council he said the roads would disapperate if there was no organisation. Where does a kid learn the word disapperate??!! Who knows I may have a councillor on my hands that uses fancy words.
Aurora is her usual self ;) and Ashlen has decided she wants to learn to read so she can unjumble words like the big kids.

In amongst work we have had a busy March. Our little friend Amelia turned 9! We went to a wildlife walk about reserve for her birthday where kangaroos were hopping around eating the cake off the table. Ashie could tell you all about that one!
Our dear friends Mel & Stu also got married! It was a gorgeous wedding on the beach side and we are so happy for them....Congratulations!

We also met up with Damien's parents from Queensland. The kids had such a lovely time and haven't stopped talking about them since. Everyone had a great time playing cards, and drawing charactatures of each other.

Enjoy the photo's!!

Easter Sunday we went on a picnic. This photo was taken in the garden Damien and I were married 8 years ago.

Ethan seems somewhat excited that the Easter Bunny delivered!

We seem to be getting heaps of butterflies in our yard. This would have to be the biggest I've seen.

Mel & Stu's wedding at Avoca on the Central Coast.

And here are both our families.

What's cookin' good lookin' ?!

Can't say the same for these Diane's. Damien and Roger showing the side they feel comfortable with at a Games Night at Michelle and Jay's house.

This is Kiara, Ashie's future sister in law (aka Lachlan's sister, daughter of Michelle & Jay). I love this photo. It reminds me of when Ethan was little and he used to feed the girls. Very cute. Notice Ashie's open mouth of encouragement...LOL

The kids participated in the local library summer reading program, they were presented their certificates by the Mayor.

Here is the jungle cake I made Amelia who turned 9 on St Patrick's Day, thanks to the Women's Weekly Cake Book! We had her party at the Calga Walk-a-bout place which was great.

There was a Pygmy Possum. It was so tiny.

This was the joey that took a shine to Aurora and wanted to play sticks with her.

Ashie got painted by the Ranger with rock paint.

This is Damien's dad Geoff. Can you tell which side of the family Ethan takes after? Incredible isn't it?!
And below is Nanna Peg being spoilt by Ashlen. If only Ashie loved me as much ;)
