As most of you all know

many big changes are coming to our lives very very soon. Which has meant that updating the blog has been something I am quite behind in. So sitting here this morning I though I would add some photo's and will just add tid bits here and there of what we have been up to.

We went to Hervey Bay at Christmas and had a lovely time. Geoff and Peggy suprised us with their new pool that provided much fun and entertainment for everyone as well as a welcomed break from the tropical heat.
Aurora found her treefrog friend.

Wetside Water Education Park was a great place to visit, full of squirting water fountains, slippy dips and a baby play area right next to the beach - free of charge! Unless of course you wanted to try out the flipside surf machine.

Gingerbread house courtesy of an Aldi kit....so delicious!
Santa delivered all the children's dreams come true!
For Ashie this awesome robotic dinosaur called Monty.
For Ethan and Aurora some Space Police Lego - a big surprise from Santa!
Don't forget to leave some oats for the reindeers on Christmas Eve!
The Three Wise Men!
Decorating the tree with Aunty Mel was very special.
Before being part of a trio - it was the Two Grand Poobahs!!
After a very early flight, drive and a big swim Aurora had a nap whilst reading.

Ashie discovered that she could read chapter books and wouldn't stop until she finished this Angelina Book.

Ethan playing the drums at the end of year presentation assembly.
Ashie and her Kindy Teacher. Ashlen received an award for being a great student with a positive attitude to learning. Well done Ashie!!
After some of our friends moved to Newcastle we had decided to make our Xmas mid-December for a whole weekend. We stayed at Soldiers Point where the sunsets glowed beautiful pinks and oranges and the company was enchanting.
Where we dined at night, this koala would keep us entertained climbing up and down the tree.
When Ashie and Damien went for a walk together, they stumbled across these beauties.

Opening Christmas pressies at Soldiers Point, looks just as it should!
New traditions started with a reading of some christmas stories.
Heading back to the cabin at night meant a nightly visitor. A tip for the unknowing, don't leave your towels hanging over the balcony otherwise the possums mark them. Ewww.

Ethan patting a possum how seemed very curious.

Ashie went to her very first school disco last November, she was so excited to be going. She danced the night away and cried at the end because she didn't want the good times to end.

Not a day goes by without Caitlin talking about "her cousins". She often even finds them "yummy"...
Meaning - she loves and misses all of you. Big summer this year...
