An update...

In pictures. We have been pottering around the house lately having dinner parties and tending our new vege patch. It is a funny time of year because this time last year we were getting excited about our trip and find ourselves getting a little antsy and reminiscent of what was and what could happen in our future. The children are doing really well at their German lessons and Damien and I have just finished a short beginners course and will probably enrol for another term.
Ethan and Ashie both have the flu this week and of course need to stay home which gives me the opportunity to update my blog and do the ironing (yippee!!) These photo's are not in the right order of occurrence. Never mind!

Broccoli, grows everyday a little bit taller.
Broad beans which are surviving Sweetie and Charlie trampling them.
Cherry tomatoes in our accidental vege patch which appeared after our trip to Hervey Bay.
A couple of weeks ago Matt, Emma and their girls Charlotte and Matilda came over for dinner. The girls are so girly together. The night started off with the customary reading of Miffy.
Followed by Hairdressers.

And Themepark reunited over Guitar Hero. Damien is now the guitarist, Matt the drummer and Aurora the lead vocalist.

A bit of a test of the new 50mm lens I received for my birthday (oh yeah, another year older for Damien and I here). Here is Ashie making banana bread.
And of course Aurora fulfilled her sisterly obligation of taking over licking the bowl!
Looks good!
Ashie has lost another top tooth. The Tooth Fairy gave her $2 which she bought a skipping rope with that she takes to school.
The making of the vege patch.
Aurora really got stuck right into it. She was so passionate about it all.

Then Ashie joined in, not sure for how long!

Deciding on which vege's to plant.

Charlie, hanging out at his new favourite pitt stop. Must say it is good exercise chasing him out of it 50 times a day.

Aurora getting dirty! Not sure what the look on her face means.

Sunflowers have also popped up in the garden from the bird aviary behind us.
Jedi and Sith landed to battle it out. The kids have been watching the Star Wars chronicles and giving the light sabres a work out.
