Leaving Sydney

Tomorrow we have been in Hervey Bay for 4 weeks and we still can't believe that we are here! We love living here even though life is just as hectic as before, we know that things will settle down. Whenever I get 5 mins here or there I'll try and get on here and update our journey up and what we've been up to.

Here we are, one of our last moments before shutting the door. It's funny to see our furniture and faithful old microwave sitting on the roadside. I remember the day we bought some of these things but unfortunately the items were well lived. There is also Ethan's sandpit we got him for his 1st birthday and he wasn't too sure about the sand when he first hopped in.

At the airport the kids plane was delayed by an hour. They were ready and rearing to go!

Damien got a little teary when they hopped on the plane. And once they left we went back to our friend Erin's house who took care of us on our last night, collected our pooches and belongings and started our roadtrip.

And what's a roadtrip without me sleeping through it?! Love the double chin...Thanks Damien! I was exhausted that day. I think the last couple of months had taken a toll on me physically and I found myself being sick for no reason and completely drained. However, my man took good care of me and let me sleep excessively on the drive to Coffs Harbour. We stayed with Amanda and her family - Thanks guys for letting us and the doggies stay, we loved seeing you again and especially spending time with Charlie.
