We went for a walk at the Urangan Pier

and the heavens opened with the rain chasing us down under this 1km long pier that used to have a train line on it. It doesn't matter where we end up on a beach as soon as the kids feel sand beneath their toes they go exploring. So after a little play and the rain getting heavier we decided to abandon our afternoon here because by then even the pier did little for protection. Before the rain came, we went with Geoff to the Salt Cafe which is part of the Peppers Resort for coffee, milkshakes and yummy cake.
