Rock Chick!!

Here are some photo's from U2. This is the outfit I made Aurora. The pants are a silver and black thread modified from a burda long pant pattern. I even did pockets. Because she is so skinny I needed to put an elastic around the whole of the back and decided not to put belt hole things because I thought that would bunch the pants at the front if she did wear a belt. They turned out so well and must admit I'm really proud of them.
The shirt is a Big W basic and with the help of Cass, Angel and Vodka I managed to aplique and diamonte!!

Aurora had such a ball at U2. Bono waved at her and held her hand. Security were amazing and kept bringing her water and ear plugs even though we were well stocked and letting us short cut to the bathroom. The sound check guys were awesome as well, giving her Larry's drumsticks and a set list. She ended up going twice because Ethan ended up giving her his ticket and proved to be the absolute best big brother in the world!!














Here is of course Edge. We were on his side of the stage on the Saturday night, but all members of the band pretty much shared the whole stage which was great. And here is a photo of Damien, Aurora and I - and my short hair!!



This is the priceless look on my daughters face that made the experience even more enjoyable.
