Viva la Vida....
On Monday the 15th of September Aurora, Damien and I made our way to the newly built O2 Stadium in Berlin. It was built to host ice hockey and major bands. On the agenda for us tonight was Coldplay!!
You all know us if it isn't on a fence it isn't on - so we secured our spot close to the front on a wing where the band would walk down. We haven't been to a concert in a couple of months (after a self imposed concert ban and then caving for Powderfinger) so we were all excited to be getting our next concert fix.
The stadium went off, the crowd was awesome and the band were absolutely amazing! The security however has nothing on the ones we have become buddy with back home and as a result Aurora spent the night in both our arms, causing us both stiff backs for the next few days (but that's another story).
Aurora and ourselves had a thoroughly enjoyable night and really, there isn't too much to blog about the night, so I'll let Aurora's ramblings and the photos below give you a taste of our experience.

Aurora says
Today we went to see Coldplay. At the start we had to wait a very long time. While we waited, Dad and I went to get me a Coldplay shirt. When Coldplay started they played my favourite song "Violet Hill". My other favourite song was "Speed of Sound". In one song it started raining butterflies. At the end we got Chris Martin's guitar pick, a setlist and butterflies.
Waiting, waiting, waiting....
